Staying in Tucson outside the short "winter" period is something that only experienced Southerners can handle. As all Arizonans, I'm always trying to get from the state for summer anyway. Fortunately, my relatives around the country are quite comprehensive to my situation and they don't mind having the climate refuge around for a while.
